Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2 July 2026 Last updated: 2 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Robert Aneszko, a sole trader based in Poland (“we”, “us”, “our”), processes personal data in connection with the Word Popping mobile game (“the App”).

We are the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”). You can reach us at robert.aneszko@gmail.com for any privacy-related question.

1. Summary

2. Data stored locally on your device only

The following data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us:

This data is stored using Apple’s standard on-device storage and is removed when you delete the App.

3. Data processed by our advertising partners

Ads in the App are delivered by Unity LevelPlay (the ironSource mediation platform, operated by Unity Technologies), serving ads from the ironSource and Unity Ads networks.

We configure these partners to serve non-personalized ads only: we signal “no consent to personalization” and “do not sell or share” for every user by default, and because we never request App Tracking Transparency permission, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not available to them on your device.

To deliver contextual ads, cap how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud, and measure that an ad was shown, these partners may process:

Unity’s practices are described in the Unity Player and App User Privacy Policy.

4. Install attribution (Apple SKAdNetwork)

To know which ad campaigns lead to installs, the App participates in Apple’s SKAdNetwork framework. SKAdNetwork is designed by Apple to be privacy-preserving: attribution is aggregated and delayed by the operating system and does not identify you or your device to us or to ad networks.

5. Data processed by Apple

Processing activity Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Serving non-personalized, contextual ads to fund a free app Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))
Fraud prevention and ad measurement by our ad partners Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))
Storing your progress and settings on your device Performance of the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b))

We do not process personal data for behavioral advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking, so no consent-based processing takes place.

7. “Do Not Sell or Share” (US state privacy laws)

We treat every user as having opted out of the sale or sharing of personal information: the “do not sell or share” signal is enabled for all users by default. You do not need to take any action.

8. How long we keep data

We store no personal data on our servers. Data on your device is kept until you delete the App. Our advertising partners retain the data described in section 3 according to their own retention schedules, described in their privacy notices.

9. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because we hold no personal data about you on any server, the practical way to exercise erasure is to delete the App — this permanently removes all locally stored data. For anything else, contact robert.aneszko@gmail.com, and we will assist, including forwarding requests to our advertising partners where applicable.

You can lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority:

Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO) ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland https://uodo.gov.pl

10. International transfers

Our advertising partner (Unity Technologies, including its ironSource platform) and Apple operate globally, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, these transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses, as required by GDPR Articles 45–46.

11. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because all ads are non-personalized for every user, no user — of any age — receives behaviorally targeted advertising. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, contact us and we will assist.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the App where reasonably possible.
